Ordering By Credit Card
When you buy a product at Realitycheckers.com Giftshop using a credit card, your transaction will be routed directly to a secure server at PayPal Inc. I do NOT have access to your credit card information. I don't want it.
PayPal have spent millions to protect customers from hackers. As an author, I'd rather be writing than taking on that kind of added responsibility. So by using PayPal, I minimize the risk for both of us. When PayPal approves the payment (usually within 2 minutes) then you'll be clear to receive your purchased item. A receipt will be sent to you immediately as proof of purchase.
I do accept mail orders using cheques and "International" money orders. It's naturally a slower more "old school" way of doing things, but it still works the way it should. Click on the "Ordering By Mail" link to read more.
The Checkout Procedure
When you purchase a book or screensaver at Realitycheckers.com you will be required to fill in your billing/shipping information, as well as your email address. This way I know who bought what, and where it's going. That's the bare minimum and that's all I need to know. The email address is used to send a download link to those who have bought an ebook or a screensaver. Having an account is also handy for bypassing the whole sign up process for future purchases.
